Regent Classic Cars is proud to present this exquisite 1963 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible for your viewing pleasure. One of only 17600 built, this particular model was from the middle of the seventh generation running from 1961 to 1964 inclusive. In the opinion of many this year and series is the most aesthetically pleasing.
1963 brought a bolder appearance than previously. With modest restyling it could be complimented with a choice of 143 available factory options. It flaunts gorgeous body lines with redesigned rear deck lid and hood. With 4. 6 inches in length added to the front fenders, and trimmed down rear fins, these changes add a perfect compliment to the appearance. The added chrome, reworked grill, and flawless stainless work just exude elegance. These subtle changes with the removal of body sculpturing produced a more streamline sleek profile appearance.
This car was the recipient of a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration where not even the slightest detail was overlooked. The original 390 CID engine was replaced at the time or restoration with an Era correct (1964) 429 Cadillac engine that was completely rebuilt from top to bottom. The remainder of the driveline components are original and also completely rebuilt.
Stunning detail was spent in the interior as well with all new red leather upholstery over the original seat frames with fresh cushions. The carpet has been replaced with new and is also finished in red. The brightworks are all as new with all gauges and accessories functioning as factory designed. With a new white vinyl convertible top and zip in glass rear window this beauty is ready for the road and sure to be a trophy winner at any car show.
