2013 Aston Martin DB9
The 2013 Aston Martin DB9 is a gentleman’s GT: it channels your inner James Bond innately, whether you’re pushing its surprisingly high limits or soaking in its refined ambience. The DB9 was the successor of the DB7. The 2013 model saw many improvements to the design, engine, and the overall driving experience, topping out at 295km/hr and a 0-100km/hr time of 4.5 seconds.
The letters “DB” are the initials of David Brown, who was the owner of Aston Martin up until 1990. Although the DB9 succeeded the DB7, Aston Martin did not call the car the DB8 due to fears that the name would suggest that it had a V8 engine. Aston Martin plans to build between 1,400 and 1,500 DB9s per year.
